Ken first began his spiritual and musical journey in an old-fashioned camp meeting at the young age of 8, coincidentally just after his mother had taught him how to sing harmony from his grandfather’s hymn book.

As part of a close Christian family, his first introduction to gospel music was intently watching as each musical group took to the stage at the camp to minister to the crowds that had come from far away anticipating revival.  In particular, Ken took notice of a piano that had been brought in specifically for the camp, which would later become his very own, and one upon which he would create, arrange and refine many musical compositions for the several groups that he would later become a part of.  Expanding on his love of the piano, he went on to become an accomplished musician, both in the studio and in performance.

His music has been influenced by many popular musicians and groups over the years including Little Roy Lewis, Flatt & Scruggs,  Sam Learning, The Cathedral Quartet, The Kenny Parker Trio, and the Couriers.  Performing on the stage of Nashville’s Grand ‘ole Opry was a particular highlight for him.

With an aptitude for business and information technology, Ken graduated from a Finance and Business Administration program in 1981, and currently works as a Senior Project Manager with a successful software consulting and implementation firm.

Ken makes his home in London Ontario along with his wife Darlene and boys Christopher and Michael.  When asked why he was so committed to continuing the over 40 year old ministry of “The Master’s” he replied…”God has made it abundantly clear that there’s more for us to do for him and I am ready to answer the call.  If even only one person is reached as a result of this ministry, it will truly be worth it all.”
